Larry G. Obie O.D.

Dr. Larry Obie is a Montana native. He graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1977 and founded Havre Optometric Clinic in 1978. He is affiliated with both American and Montana Optometric Associations and has served as president of the Board of Optometry and the MOA.

Dr. Obie has received multiple honors, including “Young Optometrist of the Year” (1981), MOA’s “Distinguished Service Award” (2002), and 2014 O.D. of the Year. He is active in local organizations such as the Kiwanis Club and Chamber of Commerce in both Havre and Chinook, where he also maintains a satellite practice. Outside work, Dr. Obie enjoys farming, flying, golf, hunting, and reading. He is married to Loretta and has two children; Tiffany (Jason) and Nick (Hillary) and four grandchildren; Owen, Austin, Olivia and Henry.

Gary M. Stremcha O.D.

Dr. Stremcha earned his Doctor of Optometry degree with distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1985. During his time there, he was part of Beta Sigma Kappa, the optometric honor society, and received the Barnes Hind Award for his exceptional work in contact lens studies.

After graduating, Dr. Stremcha returned to Montana, where he began practicing optometry first in Scobey, then in Billings. He joined the Havre Optometric Clinic in October 1993.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Stremcha served as president of the Montana Optometric Association for the 1998-99 term. He is involved in the community as a Havre Lions Club member and former president, plays trombone with the Havre Community Orchestra, and referees for the Havre Ice Hawks. He is married to Lorna and they have two children and one grandchild.

Optometrist

Lindsey Wilson O.D.

Dr. Lindsey Wilson hails from Sardinia, Ohio, a rural farming area in the southern part of the state. She graduated with honors in Health Science from Ohio State University, where she also earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2016.

As an undergraduate, she volunteered at an eye hospital in Orissa, India, gaining hands-on experience working in some of the most impoverished conditions worldwide. Dr. Wilson has conducted vision screenings for Special Olympics athletes and offered care to the homeless community in Columbus, Ohio. In 2020, she relocated with her family from Cincinnati to Havre.

Dr. Wilson provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages, with specialties including diabetic eye care, glaucoma, and macular degeneration management. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and participates in the InfantSEE program, which offers complimentary eye exams for infants between 6 and 12 months old.

Outside of work, Dr. Wilson enjoys hiking, skiing, boating, and spending time in nature. She remains active in her church and is passionate about serving those in need. Dr. Wilson values time with her husband, Chase, and together they are delighted to be raising their three children in Havre.
